| RECOVERY 4 Life: THE ALBUM

From Addiction to Freedom

“More than an album. A testimony of survival, transformation, and freedom.”

Born Melinda Ann Peppers and raised in Douglasville and Atlanta, Georgia, Lady Strange, also known as STR8 Edge, is an artist, songwriter, and creative spirit whose life has been shaped by music, faith, family, and the power of self-expression.

Raised in a family where music was the heartbeat of everyday life, she discovered early that melodies could heal, lyrics could tell stories, and words could give a voice to emotions too powerful to remain silent. From her mother's love of dancing to her grandmother's gospel roots and her brother's passion for rock and blues, music became more than entertainment. It became her refuge, her inspiration, and her lifelong companion.

Influenced by everything from hip-hop, rock, and alternative music to gospel, country, EDM, and Atlanta's underground music scene, Lady Strange developed a fearless appreciation for artistic individuality.

Inspired by legends such as Madonna, Dolly Parton, Queen Latifah, TLC, Nirvana, and countless others, she embraced songwriting as poetry in motion—a way to transform life's experiences into something meaningful.

Today, that passion finds a powerful purpose through RECOVERY 4 Life: THE ALBUM — From Addiction to Freedom.

Built around the themes of overcoming addiction, healing, resilience, faith, and personal transformation, the album represents a message greater than music itself: Your past does not have to define your future.

Through the identity of STR8 Edge, Lady Strange seeks to inspire those facing life's darkest battles to rediscover their strength, reclaim their purpose, and believe in the possibility of a new beginning.

Her mission is simple yet profound: to turn pain into purpose, struggle into strength, and music into a source of hope.

Because recovery is more than breaking free from addiction. It's about rediscovering who you are, embracing who you can become, and choosing life—one day at a time.
